In 1998, the first edition was held in Genoa and since then the exhibition confirms numbers growing.

“For the 2024 edition of the event, which will move to the larger exhibition center of Fieramilano Rho, – explains Ernesto Piloni President of Venditalia – we aim to exceed the success and record numbers of 2022: 300 exhibitors on 14 thousand square meters of exhibition space and 20,000 visitors. The 2024 edition will be focused on internationalization by expanding its presence to exhibitors and buyers from China and Japan (Asia), USA, Middle East and North Africa”.
The widest range of machines, products and services for vending, together with a rich program of meetings that will make the visit to the fair even more engaging and complete, will make Venditalia 2024 the main appointment at a national and international level for operators of the sector, confirming the leadership role of our country.
With 835 thousand distributors present on the national territory, in fact, Italy has the largest automatic food distribution network of Europe. Our country is first in Europe for number of vending machines installed, followed by France (600 thousand), Germany (579 thousand) and Great Britain (412 thousand). The turnover of the sector in Italy, between the automatic market (automatic machines) and portioned (pod and capsule machines), in 2022 is worth a total of about 2 billion euros and delivers 5 billion drinks.
